Summary
This study looked at whether playing digital games or watching cartoons can help children aged 5 to 10 feel less pain, fear, and anxiety while getting stitches in the emergency room. A total of 90 children were split into three groups: one played a game, one watched cartoons, and one had standard care. Researchers measured pain, fear, and anxiety before and during the procedure using child-friendly scales.
