First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether teaching kidney transplant recipients to eat a whole-food, plant-based diet improves their heart health and reduces complications like hospital visits. About 49 adults who had a kidney transplant in the past year and have high blood pressure, high blood sugar, or overweight are taking part. The goal is to see if this diet helps control these conditions better than standard care.
