Can changing a Child's diet tame arthritis? new study looks at gut connection

NCT ID NCT06474546

Summary

This study is testing whether following a Mediterranean-style diet for 8-12 weeks can help improve arthritis symptoms in children. Researchers want to see if the diet works by changing the mix of bacteria in the gut. The study will enroll 54 children with arthritis to see if this kind of dietary study is practical to run and to gather early clues about how diet might help control the disease.
