First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether a whole-food, plant-based diet (no added oils) can reduce painful diabetic neuropathy. About 40 adults with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes and nerve pain will be randomly assigned to either the diet or standard pain medication. The goal is to see if improving blood flow to nerves through diet can ease pain and numbness.
