First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving diet advice and a simple exercise program could improve nutrition and reduce muscle loss in children aged 5-18 with cancer. 104 children took part, with half receiving the diet and exercise plan for three months while the other half waited. The goal was to see if these changes could help kids maintain or improve their body fat and muscle health during cancer treatment.
