Summary

This study looks at how childhood cancer and its treatment affect weight and height from birth into adulthood. Researchers will track body mass index and growth in over 12,000 patients and survivors across Europe. They aim to identify factors that lead to being underweight, overweight, or having stunted growth. The goal is to better understand and potentially improve nutritional care for these patients.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to better ways to monitor and support healthy growth in childhood cancer survivors, potentially improving their long-term well-being.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, so it cannot prove cause and effect. The findings may vary across countries and may not apply to all patients.
