Can a special diet after your colonoscopy keep polyps from coming back?

NCT ID NCT06603519

Summary

This study is testing whether following a specific high-fiber, plant-based Mediterranean diet for two weeks after a colonoscopy can improve gut health and reduce inflammation. Researchers will enroll 30 people with a history of colon polyps to see if the diet helps restore healthy gut bacteria and lowers markers linked to polyp regrowth. They will track changes through blood tests and stool samples collected over eight weeks.
