New hope for rare cervical cancer: immunotherapy plus chemo-radiation shows promise

Summary
This study tests adding the immunotherapy drug dostarlimab to standard chemotherapy and radiation for a rare and aggressive type of cervical cancer called small cell neuroendocrine cervical carcinoma. The goal is to see if this combination can delay cancer growth and improve survival. About 45 women with early to advanced stages of this cancer will participate.
