Summary
This study tests a treatment called Diamyd® in children aged 8 to 17 who are at high risk for type 1 diabetes. The goal is to see if giving the drug directly into lymph nodes is safe and can prevent or delay the disease. Only 5 children with specific genetic markers are taking part.
