First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding diaphragm (breathing muscle) training to standard neck exercises can improve pain and movement in people with chronic neck pain. 71 adults with neck pain for over 3 months took part. The goal was to see if strengthening the diaphragm could reduce pain and disability better than neck exercises alone.
