Summary
This study tested whether a communication training program could help older adults with advanced kidney disease make better decisions about dialysis. Doctors received communication training while patients received coaching to clarify their values and ask better questions. The research measured whether this approach was practical, acceptable, and properly delivered to 102 participants.
