New digital platform aims to break the silence around hereditary cancer in families
NCT ID NCT04214210
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a digital health platform to help people with a hereditary risk of breast and ovarian cancer share their genetic test results with family members. Researchers worked with 128 participants in Switzerland and Korea to see if the tool reduced distress and improved communication. The goal was to make it easier for relatives to learn about their own cancer risk and get tested.
