Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with diabetes develop kidney disease, especially in Ecuador. Researchers will look at social, environmental, and biological factors in over 10,000 adults, including those with and without diabetes or kidney problems. The goal is to find better ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat diabetic kidney disease in Hispanic populations.
