Summary
This study is testing if a more proactive schedule of eye injections can better control diabetic macular edema, a common cause of vision loss in people with diabetes. Researchers are comparing a new plan—starting with two injections close together, followed by injections only as needed—against the standard approach of waiting for significant swelling to return. The goal is to see if this method leads to greater vision improvement and prevents long-term damage to the eye's light-sensing cells.
