Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 160 people who had diabetic foot ulcers. Researchers wanted to understand the total medical costs and how many people needed amputations after they tried one of two different wound treatments. The goal was to learn about the financial impact of these ulcers, not to test a new cure.
