Can a special membrane keep diabetic foot ulcers closed for good?
NCT ID NCT07360418
First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study follows 50 people whose diabetic foot ulcers healed completely in an earlier trial. Researchers want to see how often the ulcers come back after treatment with a special amniotic membrane plus standard care versus standard care alone. Participants will be monitored using photos and thermal scans, and the study also tests whether virtual follow-ups work well.
