What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Diabetic foot care training using an educational booklet based on the Health Belief Model
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that a simple education program helps diabetic hemodialysis patients better care for their feet, potentially reducing ulcers and amputations.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 50 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. It measures knowledge and behavior, not actual health outcomes like ulcer rates.
