Summary
This observational study followed 198 people aged 50–85 with giant cell arteritis or polymyalgia rheumatica to understand how these conditions and their treatments affect diabetes risk. Participants provided blood samples at clinic visits. The goal was to identify predictors of developing or worsening diabetes using machine learning.
