Summary
This study looked at how much of a diabetes self-management class people with type 2 diabetes need to attend to see real benefits. 120 participants were split into groups that completed 100%, 60%, 10%, or no class. Researchers measured changes in self-care, diabetes distress, and quality of life after 2-4 months. The goal was to find the smallest useful amount of education.
