Summary
This study tested a new way to help people manage their diabetes while they are being treated for breast cancer. Researchers compared two groups of patients: one group worked with a nurse specially trained in diabetes care, while the other group received standard care. The goal was to see if having this expert nurse on the care team could improve diabetes management and overall care during a challenging time.
