Summary
This study tests whether a dexmedetomidine nasal spray can lower the chance of postoperative delirium (sudden confusion) in adults 65 and older after lung surgery. About 264 participants will receive either the spray or a placebo. The goal is to see if the spray helps prevent confusion, reduce pain, and improve sleep without causing serious side effects.
