Nasal spray may stop Post-Surgery confusion in seniors

Summary

This study tests whether a dexmedetomidine nasal spray can reduce confusion (delirium) in older adults after lung surgery. About 264 patients aged 65 and older will receive either the spray or a placebo. The goal is to see if the spray lowers the chance of delirium and improves recovery.
