New combo may extend Pain-Free time after knee surgery

Summary
This study looks at whether adding dexmedetomidine to standard spinal anesthesia can help people feel less pain for longer after knee surgery. About 100 adults having elective knee surgery will take part. The main goal is to measure how long it takes before they need pain medicine after the procedure.
