NCT ID NCT07568184
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests a new treatment for sudden hearing loss using tiny particles called exosomes that carry a steroid drug directly into the ear. About 30 adults who did not get better with standard pills will receive either the new injection, a standard steroid injection, or a placebo. The goal is to see if the new approach improves hearing more than current treatments.
