Could stem cell 'messages' heal womb scars and boost fertility?
NCT ID NCT07416578
First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether infusing tiny particles from umbilical cord stem cells (called exosomes) into the womb can help repair the uterine lining in women with intrauterine adhesions—scar tissue that can cause infertility. About 60 women aged 20–38 will receive the treatment and be monitored for changes in womb lining thickness and pregnancy rates. The goal is to find a safer, more accessible alternative to direct stem cell therapy.
