New combo therapy shows promise in lung cancer fight

Summary
This study tests the safety of adding an experimental drug (MPDL3280A) to standard chemotherapy and radiation for people with a type of lung cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. About 52 participants will receive the combination therapy. The main goal is to see how safe the treatment is and how long it keeps the cancer from growing.
