First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study aims to find the best combination of tests to detect mild autonomous cortisol secretion (MACS) in people with adrenal incidentalomas—non-cancerous tumors found by chance on scans. Researchers will enroll 20 adults and compare several diagnostic tests, including blood, saliva, and urine measurements, to see which are most accurate. Participants will be followed for 4 years to track any changes in their condition.
