New study aims to sharpen diagnosis of hormone disorder

Summary

This study is checking how well a test called the desmopressin stimulation test can identify different types of Cushing's syndrome, a condition caused by too much cortisol. Researchers will give the test to 140 people aged 18 to 70 who have or might have Cushing's, as well as healthy volunteers. The goal is to improve diagnosis so patients get the right treatment faster.
