Summary

This study aims to better understand how a drug called desmopressin affects blood clotting during and after heart surgery. Researchers will enroll 100 adults undergoing planned heart surgery to measure changes in platelet function using a special blood test at several time points. The goal is to gather detailed information to help doctors manage bleeding risks more effectively in future patients.
