Summary
This study looks at how a drug called desmopressin helps blood clot properly in 100 adults having heart surgery with a heart-lung machine. Researchers will use a special blood test (TEG6s) to measure changes in platelet function after giving desmopressin. The goal is to better understand how desmopressin works and whether it can reduce the need for blood transfusions.
