First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested two drugs, dexmedetomidine and nitroglycerin, to see which better reduces bleeding and improves the surgeon's view during sinus surgery. 66 adults having elective sinus surgery under general anesthesia took part. The goal was to find a more effective and cost-efficient way to control bleeding, potentially making surgery safer and faster.
