Magnetic pulses target depression in spinal injury patients
NCT ID NCT04263285
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment called rTMS is safe and helpful for reducing depression in people with spinal cord injuries. Fourteen participants with depression and a cervical or thoracic spinal cord injury will receive rTMS treatment five days a week for four weeks. Researchers will check for safety issues and measure changes in depression symptoms and daily functioning to see if larger studies are warranted.
