First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Sep 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study is testing a program called Mothers and Babies for Down Syndrome (MBDS) to help prevent depression in new and expectant parents of infants with Down syndrome. About 72 parents will take part in a small pilot study to see if the program helps with feelings of grief and improves social support. The goal is to prepare for a larger study that could help many families.
