Summary
This study tested if precisely marking a specific area at the back of the lower gums (the retromolar pad) when making dentures improves comfort and quality of life. It involved 50 first-time denture wearers who each tried two different lower dentures—one made with this special marking and one made conventionally. Researchers compared how satisfied people were and how the dentures affected their daily life after wearing each type for a month.
