Summary
This study tested if carefully marking a specific area at the back of the gums (the retromolar pad) when making a lower denture improves comfort and quality of life. It involved 50 first-time denture wearers who each tried two different lower dentures. Researchers compared how satisfied people were and how the dentures affected their daily lives to see if this marking technique made a difference.
