Dental study: do fillings last longer after pulpotomy in kids?
NCT ID NCT07243496
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at how well tooth-colored fillings hold up in baby molars that have had a pulpotomy (a procedure to remove infected pulp) compared to fillings in similar teeth without pulpotomy. About 40 healthy children aged 3-9 will be followed for 24 months. The goal is to see if pulpotomy affects the success of the filling.
