Dental implant study tests new blood-based filler against standard bone graft

NCT ID NCT07445776

First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looked at two different materials used to fill gaps when placing a dental implant right after a tooth is pulled. Twenty-eight people with a damaged front tooth received an implant, and the gap was filled with either a blood-derived material (e-PRF) or a bone graft (allograft). The main goal was to see how stable the implant became and how much bone was lost around it.
