First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special story, used in class, can help young children with autism feel more comfortable during dental checkups. About 106 preschool children will either get the dental story or a general story, and researchers will see if it reduces fear and improves cooperation. The goal is to make dental visits easier and less stressful for these children.
