Scientists investigate hidden color secrets behind brighter smiles

NCT ID NCT07560761

First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at how a specific color measure (the a* parameter, which tracks green to red shades) contributes to tooth whiteness after a combined bleaching treatment. Ten healthy adults aged 18 to 65 with good oral health and no previous bleaching will receive the treatment. Researchers will measure color changes using a special device to better understand what makes teeth look whiter.
