Summary
This study looked at whether a pre-labor visit to the delivery room and having a support person during labor can help pregnant women feel more comfortable and adapt better to childbirth. 158 pregnant women took part, with some getting the extra support and others receiving standard care. The goal was to see if these simple steps could improve the childbirth experience.
