Summary
This study looks at people who have developed new spine problems near a previous fusion surgery. It compares two surgical options: a simpler decompression surgery versus a more complex one that also extends the fusion. The goal is to find out which approach leads to better physical function and quality of life. About 96 adults who have had a prior lumbar fusion will participate.
