Heart attack patients: hidden danger in 'Safe' arteries revealed by new imaging combo
NCT ID NCT07548554
First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at 40 people who recently had a heart attack and had one blocked artery treated. Researchers want to check other partially blocked arteries using two special tests: one measures blood pressure inside the artery, and the other takes detailed pictures of the artery wall. The goal is to see how many of these other blockages are actually dangerous and might need treatment, even though they don't look serious on a regular angiogram.
