Heart attack patients: hidden artery dangers revealed by new imaging combo

NCT ID NCT07548554

First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at people who had a heart attack and were treated for the main blocked artery. Researchers want to check other narrowed arteries (non-culprit lesions) using two special tests: one measures blood flow pressure, and the other takes detailed pictures inside the artery. The goal is to see how many of these other blockages are dangerous or could cause future problems. About 40 participants will be enrolled to help doctors decide the best way to treat these hidden risks.
