First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether providing healthy groceries and lifestyle coaching can help adults with high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes who live in areas with limited access to healthy food. About 80 participants from Baltimore will be randomly assigned to receive either standard diet advice or extra coaching and support. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable, and whether it lowers blood pressure and blood sugar.
