Can ballroom dancing ease Parkinson's symptoms? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07278297
Summary
This study is testing whether a 7-week personalized dance program can help people with Parkinson's disease. About 50 participants will either join dance classes or be on a waitlist to see if dancing improves their walking, balance, and quality of life. The program uses ballroom styles like waltz and swing, adapted for different ability levels, and researchers will check if any benefits last 12 weeks after the classes end.
