Could a dye given days before surgery help surgeons spot hidden cancer?
NCT ID NCT07469202
First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving the dye Cytalux (pafolacianine) several days before surgery works as well as giving it closer to surgery to help surgeons see tumors during the operation. About 106 adults with suspected lung cancer or confirmed ovarian cancer will take part. The goal is to see if the dye still glows brightly enough to guide surgeons in removing all cancerous tissue.
