Could a dye given days before surgery help surgeons spot hidden tumors?

NCT ID NCT07469202

First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a special dye (Cytalux) several days before surgery works as well as giving it closer to the operation. The dye makes tumors glow under a special camera, helping surgeons see and remove them. About 106 adults having surgery for suspected lung cancer or confirmed ovarian cancer will take part.
