First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested whether Acthar gel can improve symptoms and lung function in people with sarcoidosis, a disease that causes inflammation in the lungs. Researchers also checked if a blood marker called CXCL9 could predict who would benefit. Only 2 people enrolled before the study was stopped early, so no firm conclusions can be drawn.
