Summary

This study tests whether curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, can improve blood vessel and brain function in kidney transplant recipients. Fourteen adults who received a kidney transplant will take curcumin or a placebo for 12 months. Researchers will measure kidney function, cognitive abilities, pain, and markers of inflammation.
