Can turmeric spice help kidney transplant patients?

Summary
This study tests whether curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, can improve blood vessel and brain function in people who have received a kidney transplant. Fourteen adult kidney transplant recipients will take curcumin or a placebo for 12 months. Researchers will measure kidney function, cognitive abilities, pain, and markers of inflammation to see if curcumin offers any benefit.
